The Founder Worksheet answers questions students have about the film and follows along as Ray Kroc is traveling across the country as a milkshake machine salesman. While he has a supportive wife and has saved enough money to live a comfortable life in Illinois, he wants more. Ray observes that many of the drive-in restaurants are inefficiently run. After learning that a drive-in is ordering an unusually large number of milkshake mixers, Ray drives to see it. What he finds is McDonald's which is a highly popular restaurant with fast service, high-quality food, disposable packaging and a family-friendly atmosphere.
