Planet Earth Worksheets

Planet Earth Worksheets offered at the links above follow a 2006 British television series produced by the BBC Natural History Unit. It took five years to create and it was the most expensive nature documentary series ever commissioned by the BBC. It was also the first to be filmed in high definition [HD]. The Planet Earth series received multiple awards, including four Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, and an award from the Royal Television Society. Planet Earth first aired on March 2006 in the UK and was narrated by David Attenborough. The series has eleven episodes and this site has worksheets for all of them (Planet Earth Caves worksheet, Planet Earth Mountains worksheet, plus many more), each of which features a global overview of a different biome or habitat on Earth and includes a behind-the-scenes look at the challenges of filming the series.
